Based on the policy paper “Bangladesh Defense Strategy: Capability Gaps and Future Direction,” an op-ed titled “Modernising Bangladesh’s Defence is a Strategic Necessity” has been published by the Dacca Institute of Research and Analytics (daira) in The Daily Star.
The article was jointly authored by researchers Mamun Abdullahi, Tamim Muntasir, and Afsana Rahman, whose combined insights underscore the urgent need to strengthen and modernize Bangladesh’s defence strategy.
